Kimberly Green is the Statewide Youth Development Coordinator. She has been with the YMCA for 11 years, beginning her career as a Summer Camp Counselor with the Metro Atlanta YMCA in 2006. Kimberly’s growth in the YMCA movement truly began while working in Youth Programs with the YMCA of the Triangle and attending Peace College in Raleigh, NC. During her time in Raleigh, she became heavily involved in Afterschool, Outreach, and Day Camp programs. Seeing the YMCA’s immense impact on youth through their cause driven programming, Kimberly decided she wanted to see another area of the YMCA. In 2011, Kimberly began working in Camping Services with the YMCA of San Diego County as an Outdoor Education Instructor and Summer Coordinator. Combining her time in both Youth Development and Camping Services programs, Kimberly has served as Program Director, Resident Camp Director, and overall Cause-Driven leader to YMCA programs across the country.
